I’m so ready Oppo. I can taste it.
Here’s the Dart with a bit of exterior detailing. Turtle Wax wheel and tire cleaner does wonders. I really want to put rails and a basket on the roof.
Today is the second to last day of working in retail/drugstore, I’m very pleased to be leaving. New gig is a low tier management and barista position with a local coffee shop that pays better and is much closer(~1.5 miles vs 10miles) to home.
AMA because I have nothing to do while I’m alone at work til 1.
Tldr; new job soon, screw this retail noise.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Anything you want Mr. Zissou. I just want a ride on the Belafonte and Team Zissou uniform.

Thanks! I'm gonna see if they are interested in sponsoring the local Cars and Coffee, which would be badass.

Never used either, have wanted to but Turtle Wax is what I normally can easily get and have had good experience with.

Could you explain the appeal of Darts to people in retail? While I see very few of them on the street where I live, there are usually a least a couple in the employee parking areas of big box retail stores. There are usually a lot of random older cars (especially older small GM and Chrysler products, plus Malibus), but new ones seem to usually be these. Why is that?

I don’t know about anyone else, but for me the Dart was appealing in a few ways. When I was shopping for a new car a few months ago it ticked almost all the boxes I was looking for. It was newer (2012+), nice options, low mileage (>30,000 miles), clean records, well built and reliable, good looks, good fuel efficiency (I’m a college student and commute to campus), and rides/handles well. I wish it had some more power but otherwise it’s a very good little car, fun to blast down back roads with the extra handling bits the Rallye package added.
That’s just my reasons and everything. I imagine it’s very popular because of most of those reasons such as being well priced, good on gas, and well made.

Well, then you’re doing it for a Klondike bar, a ride on the Belafonte, AND a uniform. Greedy much?
